What a profound, yet unassuming quote:
“Snowflakes are one of nature’s most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together.”
— Vesta M. Kelly
In this day and age of ignorance and arrogance, distraction and unbridled misogyny, religious zealotry, patriarchy and greed, we seek out comfort in places of simple beauty and peacefulness, gather with people of caring and concern to commiserate our feelings of loss, degradation and fear for the future.
Yet, like in the quote above, our desire for compassion and wonder, fairness and empathy bring forth a beauty in each one of us. Though fragile, each on our own, we feel helpless and fear we will see much destroyed and other innocents harmed in a vengeful process.
Yet together, we can be a force of nature far more powerful than those in the world who would work to do harm.
So when you are ready, there will be others, like snowflakes, gathering to build a force that will work to restore our society, our nation and our planet, but they will need you to join them, to build a movement that can not be stopped by all the money or power in the world. You will not be able to just sit there, you will need to stand up and be counted, you are a part of a force, a resistance if you will, and then a mover of barriers meant to hem all within.
The more of us there are, the more power we have, the more we stick together, the stronger we become. Thus, the more we can accomplish.
So know this, when we stick together, we can move mountains, because the cause for good is more powerful than any other force in the universe, but only if we gather for the common good.
Once the anger, the fear, and the sense of doom clearly defines itself, we are left with a sense of emptiness, as if we have evaporated, then, feeling as if we are leaving behind something that can no longer be, we become aware, and awaken to our sense of freedom. A sense of resistance. We will find ourselves floating down, like snowflakes, seeing all around us, a world being blanketed by like minded beings looking to change the world for the better.
Bringing the necessity of pure form, embodied in clear frozen water, like beautiful snowflakes, each of us the same, yet delicately different. Where we gather, where we stick together, we are no longer fragile. We become grounded and strong, a force that is necessary to change the world together for the better!
So come from beauty, come from PEACE. Have Patience, become Empathy, expand your Awareness, grow your Compassion and become an Enlightened force of nature. Let us do it together.
